Compassion Response to COVID19

This morning I finished the first Compassion Response online workshop with anaesthetists from NZ hospitals building compassion and conflict resiliency skills before they become very busy with the COVID19 response. Feedback has been fantastic.

We’re using Leading Out of Drama to develop immediately usable skills for individuals and teams to cope, recover and perform sustainably in highly stressful and changing environments. You can find all the details below this post.

This is free of charge for any healthcare provider or educator who is unable to access PD funding. No questions asked, no marketing – just support with mission critical skills for those who support our communities.

Things are rapidly evolving. If you or someone you care about is seeking skills and support right now, email paul.larkin@wavelength.agency. There’s a critical 2-3 week window now before the first wave hits. We are here to support you and your communities.

Leading out of Drama (LOD)

Conflict and You: The Basics of Compassionate Accountability

This 90 minute workshop focuses on ensuring all participants leave with an enhanced understanding of conflict and skills to be more resilient, effective and compassionate with themselves and others - be they patients, colleagues or family.

LOD skills allow participants to struggle with each other to create outcomes characterised by psychological safety, resourcefulness and accountability. The workshop will be shaped to address the context of the current COVID-19 response, however these skills can be deployed anywhere, at any time.

This workshop has been recently deployed by NSW Health, RACS, ANZCA, and other international healthcare institutions. For those who have completed Process Communication Model training, you will find LOD further support PCM skills.

Post workshop: 5-10 minutes to complete post measure.

More information regarding the Conflict and You workshop can be found here, with information about Wavelength's Healthcare work here.
