Unlock Potential

Leaders and their teams show up each day to take their organisations, teams, and customers on journeys that are successful, satisfying, meaningful. Despite this, the places leaders report most commonly struggling is in:

  • interpersonal communication,

  • motivating their teams for optimal performance, and;

  • dealing healthily with stress and conflict for themselves and their teams.

Struggles in these areas miss valuable opportunities to understand, engage and motivate others, resulting instead in miscommunication, poor performance, compromised wellbeing, and conflict. Without better skills, leaders’ skills, missions and careers cannot realise their potential.

This challenge is exactly the same as NASA faces with ground crew and Astronauts, leading to the research and scientific validation of the Process Communication Model®.

Research has shown PCM training’s application and value outstrips other soft skills training.

PCM is a scientifically validated behavioural model that builds skills to:

  • Observe and understand behaviour in ourselves and others

  • Adapt communication and motivation to build co-operation, rapport and influence positive behaviours,

  • Healthily and proactively recognise and manage stress and distress in themselves and others.

These skills are specifically developed to complement existing skills and knowledge. PCM skills are able to be applied across contexts, even at home, making PCM a valuable tool in stressful and unpredictable environments where rule based approaches are no use. This is part of why PCM is accredited in Australia by the Royal Colleges of Surgeons and Anaesthetists, and The Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners.

PCM skills allow leaders to execute their missions, build their teams, and avoid the traps of negative conflict, high turnover, poor engagement and unhealthy cultures. Every leader deserves skills training that unlocks their potential!

A range of PCM training options are available to suit your organisational needs, with all workshops able to be contextualised to your organisation.

1 Day Workshops

PCM Essential Workshops

These 1 day workshops allow organisations to target areas of maximum value in any order and with no prerequisite training. Participants leave each seminar with not just a valid understanding of the dynamics driving communication, distress and motivation, but real, immediately usable skills to do better.

Communication Essentials

If being heard and winning co-operation is of primary important, the Communication Essentials workshop provides a new skillset for leaders and organisations to excel.

For leaders and teams where communication is critical, the Communication Essentials provides and understanding of how communication can be tailored specifically to each recipient in order to engage, build rapport and reduce the risks os miscommunication and conflict.

PCM’s Communication Essentials skills have been applied to realise stunning returns on investment across call centres, medical/clinical communication, and team management.

Miscommunication and Distress

Leaders and organisations seeking to embark on complex, challenging journeys deserve the skills to thrive on challenges instead of wasting time and energy putting out fires.

When the stakes are high, change and conflict are predicted, and resilience is mission critical, the Miscommunication and Distress workshop equips each participant with the skills to understand themselves and others to modify communication and behaviour to healthily resolve distress and miscommunication at it’s earlier stages.

Personality and Motivation

For Leaders and teams and those specialising in people management, the Personality and Motivation workshop unpacks the human operating system: how we all perceive and process information, experience stress, and are motivated to remain resilient, adaptable and successful.

Participants in the Personality and Motivation Workshop build immediately usable skills to manage their own motivation, provide individualised motivation to others, and a scientifically validated understanding of how personality really works and changes over time.

3 Day Workshops

PCM Part 1: Core Topics

This immersive 3 day workshop covers all of the Essentials curriculum, in small, team focussed environment that builds new skills, trust across teams, and the momentum to apply new skills across organisations and relationships.

PCM Part 2: Motivation and Conflict (Advanced)

The Part 2 seminar builds on skills developed in the PCM Part 1 and Essentials workshops to deepen and fine tune skills, particularly in high risk or stress environments.

From the moment of our first PCM session 5 years ago, we were absolutely engaged with new skills and their benefits. All our staff refer to the training and we have found that our read on clients and how best to communicate with them, resolve challenges and present to them has improved with our application of PCM’s skills. It has been particularly useful with our internal relationships and recruitment strategies.
